At the MAKS air show in Moscow, Red Wings also signed a letter of intent to lease 10 MC-21s from Ilyushin Finance. It is to receive aircraft of the in-development type at a rate of three per annum from 2019.
Red Wing’s preliminary agreement to lease 10 Q400s has been made with the same lessor. The arrangement will be finalised next year pending progress of a proposed scheme to establish a Russian assembly line for the turboprop type.
