Angola’s air force has received its first three turboprop-powered Embraer A-29 Super Tucanos, becoming the third African operator and 10th worldwide of the light attack and armed reconnaissance aircraft. The delivery fulfils half of Angola’s total purchase of six A-29s, and follows deliveries on the continent made to Burkina Faso and Mauritania, Embraer says.
