Transaero 2012 net profit down 51%

Russia’s Transaero Airline reported 2012 full-year net profit RUB902 million ($28.7 million), down 51% compared to the year-ago period. Transaero said the results were due to the significant increase in fuel prices, social payments and taxes. Revenue rose 13% to RUB97.6 billion and traffic revenue increased 35% to RUB90.3 billion year-over-year. Revenue from asset transactions lowered 64% to RUB 6.8 billion. China Southern Q1 2013 net profit down

China Southern Airlines has reported a net profit of yuan (CNY) of 57 million ($9.24 million) for the first quarter of 2013, reflecting a decrease of 82% year on year.
